Tubing

For the ultimate tubing experience, visit the Storms River, which is both magical and scenic. Start off by climbing down a "rope ladder" into the almost unreachable canyon and then clamber onto your black tube and follow the winding river to the suspension bridge in the Tsitsikamma National Park. Can you imagine anything more exhilarating?

Bungee jumping

This one is for serious adrenalin junkies. Bloukrans Bridge in Plettenberg has been recognized by the Guinness Book of Records as the highest commercial bungee jump it the world. The jump is a whopping 216m high and is only designed for those that fear nothing!

Scuba diving

If it's diversity you are looking for in diving, South Africa’s Garden Route is the perfect place to be, thanks to its enormously long coastline. Rent out equipment and enjoy some of the most beautiful marine life and underwater plant formations. Mossel Bay is the most popular area for extreme diving, as there is an abundance of sea life and plenty of rock formations.

Sky Diving

Sky diving has got to be one of the most exhilarating and enthralling activities to be experienced. After a morning lesson you should be able to dive on your own the very same afternoon. Whale watching

The Garden Route is the prime position for whale watching in South Africa. The ocean is littered with whales that can be seen breeching in the small bays along the coastline. During whale season tourists flock to the coastal regions along the Garden Route where there are plenty of sightings that make for some great photographic opportunities!

Shark Cage Diving

Witness one of the most spectacular and most misunderstand creatures of the ocean from the safety of a cage. Visitors are lowered into a metal cage from a boat into areas infested with great white sharks. If going down into the depths of the waters is not your idea of fun, then you do have the option of remaining in the boat.

Crocodile Cage diving

Crocodile cage diving is the latest interactive tourism venture that has been launched in Oudtshoorn. Dive with nile crocodiles in the safety of a cage and get your adrenalin pumping as you witness these creatures up close and personal. Crocodile cage diving is only available to visitors over the age of 12!

Quad biking

Quad biking through the numerous indigenous forests and national parks along the garden route is a great way to experience one of the most spectacular areas of the Cape. Visitors have an opportunity to view wildlife such as zebra, Giraffe, kudu, impala, and waterbuck.

Tsitsikama Canopy tour

The Tsitsikamma Canopy tour is the first activity of this kind offered anywhere in Africa. Slide between the tops of the trees whilst in the safety of a harness and witness the splendour of the forest below. There are 10 wooden platforms built high in the trees which you slide between. You will be fully instructed on how to brake and what to do as you slide between each tree, what an experience!
